This printer needs no ink & no paper, thanks to heat sensitive plastic sheets that run along a precision thermal head. It prints out both gray scale text and images. The paper is reused, as the printer removes everything through temperature change. Now the cost. The PrePeat Printer costs $5,500.00 and each sheet of special plastic paper costs around $3.30. So maybe for most folks, this is not so good right now. I’ll wait until its down to under $200.00.
