iTunes Hit 10 BILLION

Vonn vs Mancuso
The frosty relationship between American skiing stars Lindsay Vonn and Julia Mancuso may have grown a little more contentious today. Mancuso was flagged off the course during the women’s giant slalom because she started while Vonn was trying to untangle herself from the netting after crashing in the previous run.
Walmart buy Vudu
We hear retail giant Walmart has agreed to acquire Vudu. Walmart and Vudu have already begun informing Hollywood studios and TV manufacturers about the deal. The acquisition of Vudu, a start-up in Santa Clara, CA was founded in 2007, would put Walmart, in direct competition with Netflix and Amazon for digital movie dominance.
LA Swaps out Billboards with Art
Los Angeles seems to be losing a battle with ugly billboards. The timing of a new large-scale urban installation that replaces mega-ads for McDonald’s Mac Snack Wraps with works of mega-art by Kerry Tribe (above) couldn’t be better.

Flyfire is a hovering, programmable swarm of mini-helicopter-mounted LEDs developed by MIT’s SENSEable City Lab. The Flyfire canvas can transform itself from one shape to another or morph a two-dimensional photographic image into an articulated shape.
