New Rolex Building

The Japanese architectural duo SANAA is best known for designing the new home of New York’s New Museum, which is a stack of blocks on Bowery. Their newest building, opening next week, is the Rolex Learning Center, a research facility for the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland, where both the modern computer mouse and the world’s fastest boat were invented. This is a very chill shape building indeed.

Shaun told the story of his mom going his gold medal to get cleaned at the cleaners in his interview with Cris Collingsworth on NBC. It was so funny! White questioned his mother if there was a way they could get the gold medal ribbon clean as it had grown very disgusting and she took the whole thing to the dry cleaners! White was shocked when his mom came back it back with a dry cleaning bag on top of it. Shaun also thought it was hysterical that she complained about how much they charged her too.
