The wrong team won and not just because of this just awful ‘hand of maradonna’ move. Luis Suarez is without a doubt the biggest cheat in World Cup 2010. This all happened on the same day Paris Hilton appeared in a South African courtroom after being arrested and then cleared on suspicion of possession of marijuana. Lots of money was not going to help Ghana in this situation.

Strange scenes in the final minutes of Uruguay’s quarterfinal victory over Ghana on penalty kicks Friday night. Uruguay’s star striker Luis Suarez proving to be a bizarro-world hero of sorts as he ended up saving his team from last minute defeat at the death of extra time with a blatant and deliberate handball right on the goal line. It got him sent off and preceded a missed penalty kick from Ghana’s PK master Asamoah Gyan and Uraguay’s eventual shootout victory.

Here is the cheating move that Maradonna did all the way back in 1986 to knock out England.

Tennis history was made at Wimbledon on today as France’s Nicolas Mahut and John Isner of the United States shattered the record for the longest-ever match. It’s been going on for two days and even today it was halted at 59-59 in the fifth set after an astonishing ten hours when bad light halted play again!

Above: John Isner had a break during his two-day, five-set match against Nicolas Mahut at Wimbledon.

They surpassed the previous time of six hours and 33 minutes set at the 2004 French Open, when Fabrice Santoro beat fellow Frenchman Arnaud Clement 6-4, 6-3, 6-7, 3-6, 16-14.

“It is reasonable to say that it is the longest official tennis match in history,” International Tennis Federation spokesman Nick Imison told AFP, adding that it was certainly the longest in the Open Era records.

“There are not any records to suggest otherwise.”

The pair had gone past the eight-hour mark as they tussled at 45-45 in the final set of a match carried over from Tuesday, when they managed to complete the first four sets before sunset stopped them.

Isner won the first set 6-4, Mahut won the second 6-3 and the third 7-6 (9/7), before Isner won the fourth set 7-6 (7/3).

LATEST NEWS: John Isner is not happy, as he very much wanted to continue. But it has been stopped at 59-59 and it will resume tomorrow when surely we can find a winner?!

London won the Olympic bid back in 2005, pushing itself onto the International Olympic Committee as a model of eco-chic and onto the British public as a chance to redevelop certain parts of the city. The UK government vowed to “transform the heart of East London” and “make the Olympic Park a blueprint for sustainable living.” It would be, they said, the “greenest games in modern times.”

Lewis Hamilton led a dramatic one-two for McLaren with Jenson Button at the Turkish Grand Prix after Red Bull drivers Mark Webber & Sebastian Vettel collided while leading.

Hamilton and Button remained in a close-knit front group until lap 41 of 58, when Vettel – level on 78 points with his team-mate heading into the weekend – pulled alongside Webber heading into turn 12. The German seemed to move sideways into the Australian’s sister RB6 and he spun off into the gravel – and out of the race. The incident saw Webber drop back behind the chasing McLarens, who could have suffered a similar fate when Button put a move on Hamilton at the same turn.

Hamilton retook the lead by the end of the lap and Button dropped off in the closing stages. Webber still leads the World Championship standings with 93 points to Button’s 88 and the 84 of Hamilton. Vettel, on 78, falls a point behind Fernando Alonso of Ferrari, who managed an eighth-place finish from 12th on the grid.

Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger is romantically linked to Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton. The pair began dating in May 2008 and she was given plenty of TV air time, after winning America’s version of Dancing With The Stars.

This tournament’s ball, called “Jabulani, which means “to celebrate” in Bantu, represents advances in both design and innovation. Rather than being made of leather, which is traditional, the Jabulani ball is constructed of synthetics. Instead of 14 panels, there are only eight, which are held together by thermal bonding, not hand stitching.

Wanna watch videos of yourself rocking down the mountainside on your mountain bicycle? Or show your friends and family? Well this X170 sports cam is the perfect way to film every single one of your action moves. The camera itself records directly onto an SD card, plus it has a 1.5 inch screen that allows for easy playback. The battery life kind of sucks, as it only runs for an hour on the AA batteries. If you’re still interested, you can purchase one of these for about $200 through Drift Innovation

The “Clever Little Bag” will completely overhaul the shoe brand’s supply chain, as well as saving millions in electricity, fuel, and water. Pretty Chill!

It’s hard to imagine something as simple as the shoebox being completely overhauled and rethought, although Puma and Fuseproject, the design firm led by Yves Béhar, have done that. It took three years to design this in the making.

“Rethinking the shoebox is an incredibly complex problem, and the cost of cardboard and the printing waste are huge, given that 80M are shipped from China each year,” Béhar said. “Cargo holds in the ships can reach temperatures of 110 degrees for weeks on end, so packaging becomes an enormous problem. This solution protects the shoes, and helps stores to stock them, while saving huge costs in materials.”
