A bomb blast near a religious ceremony in Afghanistan killed at least 15 people. At least 20 others were injured. Most of the casualties are children. According to a report by the UK-based news agency Reuters.

Home Ministry spokesman Tariq Aryan said that initially it was known that the miscreants had left a rickshaw in a rickshaw at a place in Ghazni province.

Officials said the Quran recitation ceremony was held. There was a blast at that time.

The attack occurs when the United States attempts to negotiate with the Taliban on the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan to end the 19-year war. No group or individual claimed responsibility for Friday’s attack.
