Paris (AP) – Paris Saint-Germain will have to do without Neymar next Wednesday (9 p.m.) in the Champions League game at RB Leipzig, according to French media.
The Brazilian star will be out of the league game next Saturday at FC Nantes and against Leipzig due to a thigh injury, the RMC Sport portal reported. The 28-year-old will not play in the league game against Rennes on November 7, followed by the international break.
PSG coach Thomas Tuchel replaced Neymar in PSG’s 2-0 win on Wednesday in the Champions League game in Basaksehir Istanbul in the 26th minute and described this as a precautionary measure. Tuchel cited the adductors as the cause of Neymar’s uncomfortable feeling and expressed hope that the attacking player was not injured.
