Bielefeld (dpa) – Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the FC Bayern Munich team was unable to use the guesthouse for the Bundesliga away game in Arminia Bielefeld. Instead, the media reports in Munich had to move to a nearby school.
“As I was told, the guest cabin was not up to Corona rules,” said coach Hansi Flick on Sky of the curious cabin situation for the record champions. “That’s why we were there, but there was plenty of room, that’s why it was ideal for us.”
Videos were shown of the Bayern professionals traveling the short distance to the stadium on a newly laid black carpet. “Everything was organized perfectly,” said Flick.
