Turkey wants to further expand its leadership role in the former Soviet Caucasus region. Analysts believe the Nagorno-Karbakh victory will further strengthen Erdogan’s geopolitical position.
The conflict between the two sides has been going on for six weeks over the disputed Nagorno-Karbakh region. Three districts of Karabakh were sent to Azerbaijan under the Russian Brocade Peace Agreement.
He rehearsed the exhibition before Erdogan arrived with weapons seized by the military during the skirmish on Thursday. This victory is being celebrated with great organization.
Prior to Erdogan’s arrival, his office said the leader’s visit to Turkey provided an opportunity to celebrate the Allied victory.
During his visit to Azerbaijan, Erdogan led military parades and exhibitions and met with the country’s President Ilham Aliyev.
Turkey has supported Azerbaijan in a conflict with amnesty. Ankara has denied allegations that Turkey sent mercenaries from Syria to send its troops.
