Paris (AP) – German tennis professionals Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies take a break after their French Open win and then compete in the second tournament in Mies’ hometown, Cologne.
“One highlight follows another,” said 30-year-old Mies from Cologne the day after the victory in the Paris final of the German news agency. Also to spare his knee, they would have decided not to start a tournament immediately after the French Open next week. “We are particularly looking forward to the event in the Cologne Arena on October 19,” said Mies. ‘As a child I dreamed of playing tennis here.’
