Stuttgart (AP) – Sports director Fredi Bobic of Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt wants to return to matches with spectators soon.
“I have the impression that the vast majority of the population has so far adhered to the regulations in an exemplary manner. Now politicians must not overdo it or the measures will be increasingly questioned,” Bobic said in an interview with the “Stuttgarter Zeitung” and the “Stuttgarter Nachrichten”.
Among the total of 207,000 spectators on the first three days of the first and second divisions, there was not a single proven corona case. Nevertheless, the stadiums were “closed overnight,” Bobic said ahead of the game against Eintracht at his former club VfB Stuttgart on Saturday (3.30pm / Sky). Politicians must therefore question the proportionality of their measures.
