Barcelona (AP) – FC Barcelona have fought their way into the top group of the Spanish Primera Division, overthrowing the leader in the highest Spanish football league.
The Catalans trembled to a 2: 1 (2: 1) against Real Sociedad San Sebastian on Wednesday and are now fifth in the table with 20 points. Jordi Alba (31st) and Frenkie de Jong (43rd) gave Barca three points after San Sebastian took the lead through Willian José (27th). In the final phase, the German Barca goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen had to survive some difficult situations. The leader is now Atletico Madrid with 26 points.
