Barcelona (AP) – FC Barcelona has fought their way into the top group of the Spanish Primera Division and brought down the leader of the highest Spanish football league.

The Catalans trembled to a 2-1 (2-1) against Real Sociedad San Sebastian on Wednesday and now occupy fifth place at the table with 20 points. Jordi Alba (31st) and Frenkie de Jong (43rd) secured three points for Barca after San Sebastian took the lead via Willian José (27th). In the final phase, the German Barca goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen had to survive a few difficult situations. The leader is now Atletico Madrid with 26 points.
