BVB newcomer: Bellingham’s youngest U21 national player for England

Dortmund (AP) – Borussia Dortmund’s new hire Jude Bellingham set two records on his debut in the England U21 national team.

Shortly after his substitution in the European Championship qualifier for the “Young Lions” against Kosovo, 17-year-old Bellingham took the 62nd minute with a powerful shot to make it 6-0. The BVB midfield talent is now the youngest footballer to ever play for the English under 21 and of course the youngest goalscorer. When it premiered Under 21, Bellingham was 17 years and 67 days old.

BVB youngster Youssoufa Moukoko also made his debut in the German U20 national team. The team lost 2-1 to Denmark on Thursday, but 15-year-old Borussia suggested a goal to lead them 1-0. Moukoko has been part of the BVB professional squad since the beginning of the season and could even play in the U16 of the German Football Association.
