Paris (dpa) – After the Champions League match ended, UEFA has appointed an officer to investigate. The European Football Association announced this on Wednesday.

This unnamed ethics and disciplinary inspector will investigate the incidents during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Basaksehir from Istanbul. More information will be available “shortly”, the umbrella association announced.

Due to an alleged racist insult by the fourth official against Basaksehir’s Cameroonian assistant coach Pierre Webo, both Istanbul and host Paris Saint-Germain left the field on Tuesday-evening. After lengthy discussions in the catacombs, the game was canceled and should be continued with new referees on Wednesday evening.

  1. Good post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will at all times be stimulating to learn content from other writers and apply a bit of one thing from their store. I’d choose to make use of some with the content on my weblog whether or not you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
