Kovishield, invented by the Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech, has applied for approval for the emergency use of covariance. Covishield was developed in partnership with British pharma giant AstraZeneca. Kovacian is developed by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). There are several other vaccine candidates who can apply for approval at various stages of clinical trials. The safety and effectiveness of the vaccine is being tested in these tests.

Ahmedabad-based Zaidas-Kadila has developed a vaccine called Zykov-D. Biological-EO, India’s first private vaccine manufacturer, is developing a vaccine in association with MIT.

Genoa is located in Pune, developing India’s first mRNA vaccine. Seattle-based HDT Biotech Corporation is supporting it. Bharat Biotech is also working on another nasal vaccine.

Clinical trials of the vaccine Sputnik V developed by Russia’s Gamalia National Center are also underway in India.

The Serum Institute is working with the US company Novaxax to develop another vaccine.

According to Indian officials, four of the eight vaccines were invented by India. Those officials have denied reports of millions of doses being purchased from vaccine inventors worldwide.

According to him, the government is in contact with local and international vaccine producers. They are being told about the requirements so that their production capacity can be known.

According to Indian officials, a target has been set to vaccinate around 300 million Indians from January to early August. Initially, 1 crore health workers will be vaccinated. It will then be given to police members, members of the military, municipalities and frontline workers.

Officials further said that after that, fifty persons who have health complications and co-morbidities will be given.

Out of 2 lakh 23 thousand nurses and midwives in the country, 1 lakh 54 thousand will vaccinate people in the vaccination program. Nursing students studying in the final year will be invited to volunteer. The country’s 29,000 cold storage will be used to store vaccines. Because to protect the so-called cold chain, the vaccine has to be transported and distributed between 2 ° and 6 ° C.
