How well is Donald Trump after his corona infection? There is some evidence that after his illness the US president is not as fit as he claims to be.
It should be a lively performance after Donald Trump’s three-day hospital stay. On his return to the White House, the US President quickly took the stairs to the Truman Balcony. When he reached the top, he almost immediately pulled his mask off his face. The video, which should show how well Trump is doing again, also shows that he is visibly out of breath after the few steps. Several times he tries to take a deep breath in unobtrusively, which does not seem easy to him.
More tortured than really fit
Shortly after, he stretches both thumbs up, but looks a bit pained rather than really fit. Then Trump speaks a few words – probably to a White House employee – and then has to take a deep breath, which he is apparently trying to hide.

The fact is, you don’t have to worry.
With his appearance immediately after his discharge from the hospital, Trump wanted to show: look, I’m back, I’m fine, nothing more happened. Trump had previously written on Twitter that he was feeling better than he had 20 years ago. “I was not doing so well,” he said in the video about his illness. “But two days ago I felt great again, better than I have felt in a long time.” He may now be immune to the coronavirus, the president speculated.
Trump is “not over the mountain yet”
But from the balcony, the appearance remains the impression of a man who wants to look absolutely fit, but is not yet – and actually cannot be. This also fits in with Trump’s personal physician Sean Conley’s statement that Trump “is not over the mountain” despite leaving the hospital.
“If we make it through the weekend on Monday and his condition stays the same or improves, then we can all finally breathe a sigh of relief,” said Conley.
