With more than 5.5 percent and without a valid driving license, a driver crashed into a high-voltage pylon in the Mecklenburg lake area, the police reported.
Accordingly, the 42-year-old and his 28-year-old passenger ran away after the accident between Woldegk and Easterow. A resident had previously called the police because she saw the car in the ditch.
Police found the escaped driver and his passenger while on a manhunt. During an alcohol test, it was initially unclear how high the blood alcohol level in the driver of the accident was. The test aircraft showed only “more than 5.5 per thousand”.
