Frankfurt / Main (AP) – Eintracht Frankfurt captain David Abraham is struggling with thigh problems ahead of the upcoming international break.
Coach Adi Hütter replaced the Argentinian after 63 minutes in the 2-1 victory over TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. “David had some problems with his thigh before the match,” said the Austrian Hütter, who reported an injury to his tendon. This also affected him when hitting long balls.
The coach left open whether and for how long the 34-year-old defensive veteran could be out. On Saturday, Tuta had come into play for Abraham.
