Frankfurt / Main (dpa) – Bundesliga football club Eintracht Frankfurt has to do without defender Evan Ndicka for several weeks.

The 21-year-old Frenchman sustained an injury to the syndesmosis band in the cup match at TSV 1860 Munich (2: 1), the Hessians announced. Ndicka is certainly not available for the Frankfurt squad for the Bundesliga opener against promoted Arminia Bielefeld next Saturday.
