France has been mired in controversies since the murder of a history teacher by a Muslim extremist over a caricature of Prophet Muhammad. In this context, the country’s President Emanuel Macron announced to continue publishing this caricature. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Macron needed mental treatment for such an attitude towards Islam.
A few days later, Erdogan stated that Western countries, including France, who had attacked Islam, wanted to resume a crusade. “Unfortunately, we are going through an unfavorable time when Islam, Muslims and Prophet are being insulted,” he said. It has spread like a cancer. Such a tendency is particularly evident among European leaders. Even European countries do not feel the need to hide their hatred of Islam.
