Erdogan’s warning for France

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned France. In a speech to the state media on Saturday (12 September), he said that France would have to pay a heavy price in the event of a dispute over oil and gas exploration in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. British media outlet The Guardian reports that he made the remarks while addressing the nation on Saturday, the 40th anniversary of the 1980 military coup.
