Olympic champion Viktoria Rebensburg is back in the World Cup. As an expert, the 31-year-old will guide the races for the Eurosport channel. She has a clear stance on how to stop exercising.
Olympic ski champion Viktoria Rebensburg is returning, at least indirectly, to the World Cup after retiring from alpine racing. The 2010 giant slalom gold medal winner will accompany the two women’s giant slalom races next weekend in Courchevel, France (from 9.30am on Saturday in the Chillreport live ticker) as co-commentator on the Eurosport channel.
“I’m really looking forward to the change of perspective,” said Rebensburg in advance. In a Eurosport podcast, the 31-year-old also stressed that since she was fired, she “had not had a single moment” when I regretted the decision. It was definitely the right time for me. During the summer training she felt that “the final conviction is missing.”
