Munich (AP) – FC Bayern Munich is reportedly facing a commitment from striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
As the French sports magazine “L’Équipe” reported, the 31-year-old attacker will receive a two-year contract with the German record champion. “L’Équipe” claimed that only details needed to be clarified. Official notices were initially not available.
Choupo-Moting, born in Hamburg, played in the Bundesliga for Mainz 05 and Schalke 04, among others. The Cameroonian national player has been under contract with Thomas Tuchel’s Paris Saint-Germain for the past two years. Choupo-Moting doesn’t currently have a club. The Münchener wants to improve the staff on Monday before the end of the transfer period.
