At least four people were killed in a collision between a Greek-flagged tanker and a Turkish fishing boat off the coast of southern Turkey. One person is still missing, the governor of the southern Turkish province of Adana said on Wednesday. The incident took place in the early morning 15 nautical miles from the Karatas district.
The Turkish coast guard said it was looking for the missing person with three boats and a diving team. The DHA news agency reported that other fishermen discovered that the boat capsized in the open sea. The cause of the collision was initially unclear.
