Sarr, Roca, Costa and Choupo-Moting – FC Bayern has strengthened its squad in the short term. A new player was added on Tuesday. A 19-year-old top talent from Lisbon.

FC Bayern Munich has loaned Tiago Dantas from Benfica Lisbon. The record champions confirmed this on Monday. The central midfielder will initially support the second team, but he could stay longer and be promoted to the first team. Finally, the Bavarians would have agreed a purchase option for the Portuguese for eight million euros.

After Douglas Costa (Juventus Turin), Marc Roca (Espanyol Barcelona), Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (Paris St. Germain) and Bouna Sarr (Olympique Marseille), Dantas is the fifth player to bring in Munich at the end of the transfer.

Tiago Dantas is considered a great talent. He must have excellent ball control and good passing play. In addition, he has a good overview of the field and is seen as the clock in the team.

Portuguese journalist Gonçalo Lopes writes on Twitter about the transfer: “Benfica’s brightest star on the way to Bavaria.”
