A fly caused a car accident in Eydelstedt (Diepholz district) with two seriously injured. As police announced on Thursday, the animal flew through the open window into the driver’s mouth. The 20-year-old tried to spit out the fly and cracked the steering wheel.
His car ran into a ditch and then hit a tree. The driver and the 21-year-old passenger were seriously but not life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital. There has been a total loss on the car.
