Berlin (AP) – Bundesliga football team Hertha BSC faces the last minute transfer of midfielder Matteo Guendouzi from Arsenal FC.
As the “Bild” reports, the capital lends the 21-year-old Frenchman for a year without a purchase option. In addition, Eduard Löwen (23), who has been loaned to FC Augsburg, must return to Berlin early to compensate for Hertha’s problems in midfield.
According to information from the newspaper, the French U21 international Guendouzi must complete the medical check on Monday. The curly hair comes from the youth of Paris Saint-Germain and has played a total of 57 Premier League games for Arsenal since 2018. Most recently, however, he did not get a chance with coach Mikel Arteta.
