In India, a record 47,071 people were identified in a single day

In India, another 46,071 people were found suffering from coronavirus on Saturday. This is the highest ever record in a single day. Officials of India’s Ministry of Health said on Sunday. NDTV reported this in a report.

According to the report, the number of people affected by corona in India so far is 13 lakh 85 thousand 522.

Officials say 605 people have died in the last 24 hours in Corona. The total death toll was 32,073.

Eight lakh 65 thousand 57 of the victims have already been recovered. The recovery rate is 83.91 percent.

Infection has almost doubled in the last three weeks. The total number of people infected is more than 45,000 on four consecutive days.

Meanwhile, the first phase of the trial of a coronavirus vaccine candidate invented by Indian scientists at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi has begun. It was applied to the body of a 30-year-old man on Friday.

Hyderabad-based India Biotech Corona has developed this vaccine candidate. Its name is Kovaxin. The country’s ICMR and National Institute of Virology (NIV) are included. The Department of Drug Control of India (DCGI) recently allowed human trials of kovaxine.

AIIMS Professor of Community Medicine. Sanjay Rai said that more than three and a half thousand volunteers have already registered to participate in the Kovaskin trial. At least 22 of them are being verified. He said that a Delhi resident, who was tested for two days, became the first volunteer. His health and age are normal.

Sanjay Roy said that he was given the first dose at 1.30 pm on Friday afternoon. No immediate side effects were observed. He was kept under observation for two hours. The situation will be reviewed in seven days.
