Dortmund (AP) – Sports director Michael Zorc of Borussia Dortmund is not concerned about the rehabilitation of the youngster Erling Haaland in Qatar.
“His wish was to go through rehab there. He is surrounded by experts who can take care of him there day and night,” said Zorc, making it clear once again, “We have agreed.”
The currently injured BVB striker caused surprise on Wednesday when he announced via Instagram that he is currently completing his rehabilitation in Qatar. The 20-year-old Norwegian has been missing since the beginning of the month due to a torn muscle and will return to Dortmund for Christmas. The Bundesliga club is not afraid of a possible corona infection in Haaland. “We assume that he will adhere to the applicable hygiene rules there,” says Zorc.
