Trump has failed with lawsuits
During the pro-Trump protests in several American cities on Saturday, there were clashes between supporters of the president and counter-protesters.
Trump has been talking about “electoral fraud” for weeks, which allegedly helped his challenger Biden win. However, the Trump camp failed with a series of lawsuits against the election. He also suffered two defeats before the US Supreme Court. All states have now certified the election results.
In the election, Biden won 306 of a total of 538 voters to elect the president on Monday. The former vice president needed at least 270 electoral women and men to win the election. On January 20, Biden will be sworn in as the 46th president in US history.
