Bundesliga professional Kevin Volland leaves Bayer Leverkusen and moves to the French league. At his new club, he would meet a former Bundesliga coach.
According to the newspaper Bild, striker Kevin Volland is about to switch from Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen to French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco. The compensation should amount to approximately 20 million euros.
Volland, who played ten times in the German national team from 2014 to 2016, would play for the French Ligue 1 club under Niko Kovac. The former Bayern coach has been working at the Monegask since mid-July. Volland moved from TSG Hoffenheim to Leverkusen in 2016.
