Istanbul (dpa) – Former international Max Kruse has unilaterally terminated his contract with Fenerbahce Istanbul, club sources say. That’s what the club announced.
Kruse had unin response requests from the Turkish Football Association (TFF) about salary payments in the Corona crisis, it was said. “In this context, our unilateral dismissal is, in our view, unjustified and pointless,” he continued. The case will be heard at the Court of Sport and the club will do everything possible to protect its interests. The club has no debts to Kruse in relation to the pre-pandemic period.
The Turkish Süperlig had his match resumed on June 12 after a break of almost three months due to the Corona crisis.
