Paris (AP) – Champions League finalist Paris Saint-Germain suffered another setback on the 14th day of France’s Ligue 1 and, in addition to leading the table, may have lost some time to Neymar.
In the 0-1 draw against Olympique Lyon, the Brazilian international was made a mistake by Thiago Mendes in the final phase and had to be taken off the field with a stretcher. Mendes saw the red card for his action (90th + 9th).
Lyon overtook Paris in the table. PSG is now only in third place, one point behind Lille and Lyon. Lille had won 2-1 against Girondins Bordeaux.
Paris started without world champion Kylian Mbappé and German national player Thilo Kehrer, both were substituted during the game by coach Thomas Tuchel. Philana Kaldewere scored the goal for the guests (35th).
