Prague (AP) – Sabine Lisicki is on her way to success at the tennis tournament in Prague.
The long-injured Berliner won her third round against Japanese Chihiro Muramatsu 6: 4, 6: 4 at the lower class 125K series clay court event and fourth after a long, long time three wins in a row. Players not currently participating in the US Open in New York will participate in the tournament.
Lisicki was absent for a long time due to many injuries and suffered from mononucleosis and is currently no longer in the world ranking. In 2019 she failed several times to qualify in tournaments. In 2013 she was in the final at Wimbledon.
