Kiev (AP) – Joachim Löw can draw on the full staff in the German national football team’s Nations League match against Ukraine.
All 23 actors who have traveled to Kiev are ready for action, national coach Joachim Loew reported before the final training in the Ukrainian capital. “The staffing situation is relaxed,” said Löw at the national stadium, also referring to the recently interviewed Toni Kroos, Timo Werner and Serge Gnabry. “The first and most important task is to approach the game in such a way that we can win against Ukraine,” said Loew.
The opponent weakened by countless corona cases will not be underestimated. “We will not be blinded by Ukraine’s result in France,” said Löw, referring to the 7-1 victory in Paris.
