Leipzig (AP) – Since reunification, the German national football team has played in Leipzig six times. All matches were won – and Joachim Löw was always involved as an assistant to Jürgen Klinsmann or as head coach.
The only defeat of a DFB-Elf in the Saxon metropolis was in 1912 in a 2: 3 against the Netherlands. On Wednesday (8.45 p.m. / RTL), the Löw team will play a test match against the Czech Republic in the RB Leipzig stadium.
