Munich (AP) – Former Munich record purchase Javi Martínez is said to be about to say goodbye to FC Bayern.
As reported by the Spanish sports magazine “Marca”, the defensive player must agree with his former football club Athletic Bilbao on a return. The 32-year-old should therefore be given a permanent contract for two years. In Munich he still has a contract until the summer of 2021. Now Bilbao and FC Bayern have to deal with the transfer. Martínez was Munich’s record purchase of 40 million euros in 2012. The former national player has only been an additional player for a long time.
