Office tailored to Windows design

Unlike the predecessor Office 2011 for Mac, Office 2016 now shows the surface of the individual applications in exactly the same way as with the Windows counterparts – apart from Mac-specific functions, for example when dealing with the program windows. Above all, this includes the so-called ribbon (ribbon) as a central orientation in the jungle of various functions.

The new office is colorful. For each document, there is a selection of different designs that invite creative creation.

Office 2016 with cloud connection

When saving a document, a mouse click can decide whether to save a text or a table on the Apple computer or in the cloud. The services offered for this offering range from the free notebook application OneNote to the corporate SharePoint offering. Team work on a document can also be organized this way.

The popular Dropbox cloud offering also needs to be integrated into Office 2016. Apple’s iCloud isn’t supported either. The OneDrive program, available in the Apple App Store, integrates the Microsoft cloud into the Finder.
