Nicolas Gonzalez scored 14 goals for VfB Stuttgart last season. The striker is coveted on the transfer market. Sports director Mislintat knows that too – and is waiting for a bid from BVB.

He came to Stuttgart in July 2018 and contributed his share of VfB’s return to the Bundesliga. With 14 goals and three assists, Argentinian Nicolas Gonzalez is one of the club’s best-performing clubs – and therefore a candidate for change.
Sports director Sven Mislintat of VfB Stuttgart has not ruled out the sale of Nicolas Gonzalez (22) to Borussia Dortmund. “Of course we get rumors about Nicolas Gonzalez,” said the 47-year-old in an interview with “Sport1”: “We already see the possibility that someone can offer us so much money that we have to think about a sale.”

“Then we’ll sit at a table”
When asked about a possible interest from runner-up BVB, Mislintat said: “We have not yet received a concrete sign from Dortmund.” However, if the runner-up reports to his former chief scout with the “correct entry fee”, “we’ll sit at the table”.
The Argentinian attack is also being discussed with Italian Europa League participant AC Milan.
With the commitments of Gregor Kobel (22, TSG Hoffenheim) and Waldemar Anton (24, Hannover 96) last Tuesday, Stuttgart has already made five summer transfers. “If the transfer market were closed now, we would have done a good job,” said Mislintat.
