Prime Minister Narendra Modi will consult with farmers on India’s new agricultural law. He will exchange views on the birth anniversary of former BJP prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25. A BJP statement on Saturday confirmed the case. NDTV according to a report in the Indian media.
The BJP has also said that it will organize farmers’ dialogues at more than 2,500 places in Uttar Pradesh. All preparations for this have been expedited.
Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh and party leader Radha Mohan Singh participated in virtual meetings with party officials from different parts of the state.
Radha Mohan Singh has claimed that the Narendra Modi-led government is dedicated to the welfare of the poor and farmers. But opponents are lying about the new agricultural law.
Meanwhile, at a function on Saturday, Modi expressed his strong support for the new agricultural law. He claimed that the new law has changed the attitude of investors.
Narendra Modi said that investors are now wondering why they are not in India instead of India. Farmers have also started getting benefits.
Thousands of Indian farmers have been protesting in Delhi for 25 days, demanding the repeal of an agricultural law passed last September. Although there have already been five rounds of talks between farmers and government representatives, the crisis has not been resolved. The farmers have rejected the government’s proposal to reform the law. They are demanding repeal of the law.
It should be noted that the Government of India has recently changed the Agriculture Act to allow corporate farmers and farmers to buy as many crops as they want. Corporations will also be able to tell you what to cultivate with advance funds. The farmers feel that this will harm their interests. They would eventually become slaves to the corporation. This will benefit big companies. Within a few years, their special market in agriculture will be established.
