Two days after leaving the English Cup, Jürgen Klopp has again bad news: after ex-Bayern star Thiago, Liverpool’s next major player has been infected with Corona.
Trainer Jürgen Klopp has to deal with the second corona case in the FC Liverpool selection within a few days. The English football champions announced on their homepage late on Friday evening that Sadio Mané had tested positive for the virus.
Sadio Mane has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently self-insulating according to necessary guidelines.

The 28-year-old Senegalese immediately went to compulsory quarantine. He has mild symptoms, but is generally in good health. It was only Tuesday that Liverpool had to announce a positive corona test with former Bayern pro Thiago.
Jürgen Klopp criticizes Fifa and Uefa
In view of the corona pandemic, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp on Friday criticized Uefa and Fifa for the fact that the clubs now have to send players for the national teams to different countries. “I really don’t want to sound disrespectful,” said Klopp. “But just like everyone wants their family around right now, and if your daughter or son says they want to go there or there, you say, I’m not sure this is the right time.”
For the international break, Klopp’s team will face Aston Villa on Sunday, fourth in the English league. One of the main offensive forces will now be missing. In 174 appearances, Mané scored 84 goals and prepared 34 goals.
