The Bavarian club put its coach at the door after three years. Nothing more is known about the exact reasons for the ending.
The Würzburger Kickers broke up after only two match days with coach Michael Schiele. The promoted second division announced on Tuesday. Schiele was a trainer at the Bavarian club for three years.
Thank you for your tireless efforts over the past three years, which culminated in promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga, and all the best on your future path, Michael Schiele! 🔴⚪ pic.twitter.com/ZNufdybSN8

Würzburg, which reached the 2nd Bundesliga on the last match day, started the new season with two losses against Aue (0: 3) and Düsseldorf (0: 1). However, that should not be the cause of the deportation. Schiele’s contract was only extended by another year due to the last-minute promotion. The new Würzburg managers around investor Flyeralarm and sports director Felix Magath had already decided in the spring that they did not want to plan with Schiele on the coach bench.
