The pilot was killed on Tuesday in the crash of a sports plane near the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality of Flammersfeld in the Westerwald. As the police in Koblenz announced, the single-engine machine crashed into a field in the morning and broke into two parts. The identity of the only prisoner who died in the accident had therefore not yet been definitively clarified.
