Stockholm (dpa) – Swedish national coach Janne Andersson has tested positive for the corona virus, the Swedish Football Association announced before the friendly match against Denmark in Copenhagen (7.30 p.m.).
Andersson has been in quarantine since late last week because someone from his immediate family had tested positive for the virus. The coach feels relatively good, he continues to isolate himself at home.
In Copenhagen, the Swedish team around Mainz striker Robin Quaison will be welcomed by assistant coach Peter Wettergren. Andersson will also miss the Nations League encounters against Croatia and France.
