Leipzig (dpa) – When looking for short-term reinforcement, RB Leipzig has a well-known name in mind, according to media reports. The Saxons are therefore interested in Justin Kluivert from AS Roma.
The 21-year-old winger is the son of former international Patrick Kluivert and is on loan for one season. On the other hand, a loan from Atlético Madrid from French world champion Thomas Lemar cannot be financially supported.
Leipzig had good experiences with loan players from Rome last season. The Saxons had brought striker Patrik Schick with them, but in the end RB could not afford the purchase option of 29 million euros. Schick then moved to Leverkusen. At Kluivert, only details need to be clarified. The attacker would fill the gap after Ademola Lookman’s loan to Fulham FC.
