Rome (AP) – Football pro Bryan Cristante has been banned from a game for blasphemy during a game in the Italian Serie A league.
In the 5-1 away win of first division AS Roma against FC Bologna last Sunday, the AS midfielder undoubtedly made a blasphemous statement in the 23rd minute, according to the sports field of the competition. The review of television images would have shown that, it was said without further information.
Rome coach Paulo Fonseca will therefore have to do without the 25-year-old Italian on Thursday when his team receives Torino at home. After matchday 11, the Romans are in 6th place in Serie A.
