The Russian Defense Ministry said that four Bulova missiles were fired from the Pacific Fleet Vladimir Manomakh submarine. It has been successfully launched from the depths of the Sea of Okhotsk. These dummy warheads have been able to hit targets.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the missiles were successfully fired 5,500 km from the launch site.
In a report by President Vladimir Putin, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Saturday’s missile launch was a strategic part of a major Russian nuclear exercise that began Wednesday. As part of the exercise, another nuclear submarine also launched intercontinental ballistic missiles from the launch site at Barents C.
