Munich (dpa) – National football player Leroy Sané has returned to team training at FC Bayern.
The winger, who had been missing since the end of September due to a capsule injury in his right knee, was back in the German football championship. The 24-year-old was able to make his comeback against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday (3.30 pm / Sky).
Together with the players who were not in the starting line-up the night before in the 4-0 Champions League match against Atlético Madrid, Sané was challenged in training. After the warm-up and a few fierce sprints, game types were on the program on Thursday, according to the club. Under the guidance of assistant coach and World Cup record scorer Miroslav Klose, Sané also trained a few degrees in an extra unit.
Long missing defender Tanguy Nianzou continued his development program after a thigh injury. The 18-year-old must be patient. Munich wants to win the sixth league match in a row against Frankfurt.
