Saudi Arabia has announced that it will allow partial international flights from 15 September. Under this, special categories of citizens and residents will be allowed to travel. The state news agency SPA of Saudi Arabia gave this information on Sunday.
According to the British news agency Reuters, from 1 January 2021, Saudi Arabia will completely lift the ban on water, land and air travel for its citizens.
The GCC is not a resident of Saudi Arabia, but has residency permission or holders of travel visas will be allowed to enter the country from 15 September.
Special categories include government and military officials, diplomats and their families, those working in the public and private sectors abroad, businessmen, patients in need of medical treatment abroad, students studying abroad, and members of humanitarian needs and sports teams .
Saudi Arabia suspended all international flights in March to prevent coronavirus infection.
