Mönchengladbach (dpa) – Borussia Mönchengladbach has extended its contract with defensive all-rounder Tony Jantschke for an additional two years until June 30, 2023.
The 30-year-old should continue to work for the Bundesliga club after the end of his active career. An associated agreement is also part of the new contract, Gladbach company announced. The previous contract ran until the end of the current season.
“Borussia has long since become my second home and I am proud to have been able to play for this club for over 14 years,” said Jantschke, who moved to the Lower Rhine in 2006 at the age of 16. This makes him the longest serving Borussian from the current team.
